On 2 June 1900 census of Philadelphia Ward 4, Pennsylvania was Samuel Goldfus 38 b: abt 1862 in Russia who immigrated in 1887. With him was his wife Esther 38, born 1862 but immigrated later in 1891 from Russia. They had six children:
Freda b: 1884 Russia, Abraham b: 1886 Russia, Sarrah b: 1888 Russia, Goldie b: 1893 Pennsylvania, Louis b: 1896 Pennsylvania, and Bennie b: 1899 Pennsylvania. It seems like
Freda age 16 on the census of 1 June 1900 was in the Pennsylvania Hospital Ward 7 as a patient. Hopefully she had just got out the next day to be on the next census. Her parents' names were not listed in the hospital, but I believe it's the same person.
On the 1910 census of Philadelphia Ester age 48 is listed as head of the house. Daughter
Freddia age 26 b: Russia is married to Charles Kahn age 29 b: NY with grandson Robert Kahn age 4 b: Penn. Her son Abe 24 b: Russia, daughter Sarah age 21 b: Russia, Goldie 17 b: Penn., Louis age 13 b: Penn, Bennie age 11 and Berly age 9 all born in Penn were living with her. Possibly Sam had died.
